The intricate brickwork of the Qutub Minar and carved stone patterns,
the base, columns of Mosque ruins and details of stone carvings in the Mosque at
Qutub Minar, which include many ancient Hindu temple stones. Built in 1193-1378,
the emblem of Delhi, the 72.55 meter high was erected in the
13th century by Qutab-Ud-Din Aibak. The monument tapers from a 15-meter
diameter base to just 2½ metres at the top. Beautiful calligraphy adorns the
adjacent edifices.The tower has five distinct storeys, each marked by a
projecting balcony. The first three storeys are made of red sandstone, the
fourth and fifth of marble and sandstone.

Architect by Ustad Ahmad(1580-1649) on 1639-1648. The massive walls of the Red Fort, entrance, looking through an arch at one of the
palace buildings. Red Fort name comes from red sandstone building materials who was used
for raise fort and Moghol Shahjahan Emperor palace between 1639-48. A 16
metres high surrounding walls encircles about a 600,000 §³ area where
rise palaces, mosques and stretch courtyards and gardens. Imperial palace is
located to the east of the old city and to the west of Yamouna river;

Located in Kalkaji in the south of Delhi, the Bahai Temple
or the Lotus temple is a very recent architectural marvel of the Bahai
faith. It is made of marble, cement, dolomite and sand. The temple is open
to all faiths and is an ideal place for meditation and for obtaining peace

Colored stone architecture of Jama or Jami Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Built by the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, in 1644-58 and is the final architectural piece built by him. India's largest Mosque, is an eloquent reminder of the Moghul religious fervour. Called the Masjid-i-Jahanuma, or "mosque commanding view of the world", this magnificent structure stands on the Bho Jhala, one of the two hills of the old Mughal capital city of Shahjahanabad, in the ancient town of Old Delhi.
