Wangjiangiou Park/Overlooking the River Tower Park

Built in 1889, one of three famous cultural relics and landmark of
Chengdu, is dedicated to a woman, Xue
Tao, a poet in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Xue Tao was born in a turbulent society so her father named her 'tao' wave in
Chinese. History records that she wrote 500
poems and that her contemporaries greatly admired her. Xue Tao loved bamboo; over 150 kinds of

Wuhou Xi/Martial Marquis Shrine
South Suburb, Chengdu


Wuhou Ci is dedicated to Zhuge Liang, the Martial Marquis of Shu in the 'Three Kingdoms'. Zhuge Liang was the personification of noble character and intelligence. The shrine covers 37,000 §³. The date of its establishment is unclear, only that it was built next to the temple of Liu Bei, the emperor of Shu. It was combined with the Temple of Liu Bei at the beginning of the Ming Dynasty. Shuangliu International Airport
Chengdu


Major airport in Chengdu, the fifth busiest airport in
China and 96th all over the world. The
airport started service in 1938 as a military airport in the
World War II. Located in the north of Shuangliu County,

Two Immortals of Qingyang Temple
West Section 2 of 1st Ring Road, Chengdu

The temple was originally built in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), a period when
Taoism was flourishing. Most of the parts of the temple that remain in existence

Huanglongxi Ancient Town
Shuang Liu County, Chengdu

Situated
42 km from Chengdu, 34 km from Shuang Liu County to the southwest. Jinjiang
River of Chengdu flows through Huanglongxi and into the Luxihe River from the
east of the county. Town with a
history of more than 2,300 years,
land of China Folk Arts-Fire Dragon. The
architecture in style of Ming & Qing dynasties are preserved. Now in this
town 7 typical streets of Ming & Qing dynasties 1,146m long, it's 76

Ancient Opera House at Gulong Temple

Also named
as Ten-thousand year House, was built at the beginning years of Qing Dynasty, and has a history of over 300 years. Monasteries, ethnic clubs and towns built opera houses for worshipping and entertaining.
