Imperial Palace Museum

on 1406, area 720,000§³, the five bridges of the Imperial Way cross the Golden River between
the South Gate and the Imperial Countyard. The sculpted clouds of the celestial
lineage of the emperor. Pavilion of Pleasure(right) was built in 17th century

Temple
of Heaven
Beijing City

Built
by the Ming and restored under the Qing, the Temple of Heaven(Built in 1420)
is a ceremonial building where emperors came to celebrate seasonal rites. Surrounded
by a walled enclosure, the setting consists of a circular mound, a vault of
heaven and an alter of prayer for the havests. The architectural components
of the temple, the circular form and the number of columns and terraces symbolize

Summer Palace

Located
in the northwestern part of Beijing and is about 10km away from Beijing Zoo.
It is one of the existing imperial gardens with largest scale. In 1880, it was
destroyed by British and French Allied Forces. Then, in 1888, Empress Dowager
Cixi embezzied more than 5 million liang silver from Navy funds to rebuilt it. Built
at
the beginning of the 20th century by the Chinese Empress Cixi on the shore of
the lake in the Yihe Yuan garden, this traditionally style pavilion was a quiet

Architect by Riken Yamamoto on 2006.Jianwai SOHO is located at
opposite the China World Trade Center.The buildings have a total gross floor
area of 700,000 square meters on a site of 169,000 square meters.Jianwai SOHO
includes 20 high rise towers and four villas.Currently,18 towers and the four
villas are completed;and two towers are under construction. Upon completion
