On the left is the Metropolitan Opera House in 1966 by Wallace K.Harrison and on the right the Avery Fisher (Philharmonic) Hall in 1962 by Max Abramovitz,SOM, Eero Saarinen, P.Belluschi and others. The Charging Bull
Broadway Bowling Green, New York City

3,150 kg bronze bull was sculpted by Arturo DeModica's and was left by the artist in front of the New York Stock Exchange in December 1989. It was quickly shunted to a police impound lot. Media attention roused the public to call for the return of the bull and the New York City Parks Department found this strategic spot for an icon embodying Wall Street's optimism.
