Architect by William Ware
& Henry van Brunt in 1871-78 of High Victorian Gothic. The Memorial Transept
and the great dining hall were dedicated on 23 June 1874. The theatre, built
with the bequest of Charles Sanders, was finished two years later. In 1878 the
tower was completed, and the building was given by the alumni to
